.:ZeLink:. Halfway to Anywhere

Princess Zelda, a holder of wisdom, and Link, a hero of the pendulum of  time were what you could consider well known.  They were popular, respected, and the “couple of the kingdom”.  One would assume that this kind of popularity would be wanted and loved, and this lifestyle splendid.  It's the life everyone and all the creature of Hyrule crave.  However, it's wasn't splendid for these two, not at all.  They were stalked, crazed over, and threatened.  It too scary to bear, and far too much a burden.

So, Link and Princess Zelda decided to leave.  Leave without a word, keep it hushed, and hopefully travel far away.

“This is the dark, swiveled path to freedom, Link.  Are you sure you want to go with me?” Zelda questioned, tying her long, luscious brown hair back behind her long elf-like ears.

“Yes, I am certain. We must travel together.  Let's runaway, let me lead you away from the madness.” Link polished his sword, slipping it away to give the girl his full attention.

“Thank you, thank you so very much.”  She took in a breath.  “We'll leave tonight, follow the moon into the morning's light.  Travel west and keep traveling to the land of the pure and free, wherever that may be.”

“Indeed, my princess.  I will give my life fully to you, to ensure you make it to that place.”  The young boy picked up his bags, light and portable.  “There's no need to tell, keep your words hushed, and your mind peaceful.”

“Oh, I have dreamt of this place so very much. It's such a perfect image.  And I must admit..” Zelda looked down adverting her crystal clear eyes.

“Admit what?”

“There isn't anyone else I'd rather travel with.”

“I'd have to agree.  Nobody but you.” Link smiled.  “I must ask you of one thing.”

“And, what may that be?”

“Princess, please drop that guard of yours, that guard build of anxiety and fear.  Drop this guard, I beg you, because we are going to be safe.  Safe and in bliss.”

“I will.  I promise you with all my capacity.” The Princess smiled. “Forget this life and come with me to the place where love is more than just a name.  Where people love us for us, not because of what we are made out to be.”

“Yes, by the next moon we'll be halfway to anywhere that statement holds true.”

“Together we'll travel to that anywhere, my love, to that anywhere. We will be free.”
