Hetalia x Reader: Olympics- Archery

You looked over at your boyfriend, Arthur, as he prepared to compete. He was grumbling who-knows-what under his breath as he stood there with you behind him.

"You'll do great!" You encouraged, rubbing his shoulders.

"Great isn't good enough, I have to win." The Englishman grumbled. "It would be embarrassing if I didn't."

"Why is that?" You stopped rubbing his shoulders as he turned around to face you.

"I'm the one hosting the games! I'd get laughed at if I didn't win a single medal."

"Well, don't worry about it, you'll win." You handed Arthur an arm brace, which he put on. "Archery is your strong suit!"

"Thanks, love.  I'll do my best." When the young man gave a short passionate kiss, grabbed his equipment, an headed out the doors.  "I'll look for you out in the audience."

"Alright.  You know I'll be there!" You called out, smiling brightly.

You walked into the audience, in one of the front seats, and waited for the competitors to make their entrance.  Soon enough, they did, and you caught eye of Arthur, as he did you, and he smiled.  You smiled brightly right back at him, giving him a thumbs up.

Arthur was the first to go, and he grabbed his bow, placed his arrow, and took position.
He alined his bow and arrow to the target  as everyone quietly awaited.  Then, there was the sound of a racing arrow and then it sticking to the target.  The target was awfully far away from you so you were unable to see where it hit.

"Bulls-eye~!" You heard the announcer say as everyone cheered, including yourself.
Arthur looked up to you and smiled lightly, and you smiled back clapping for him.

The other competitors went, with one getting close to Arthur, but not quite, with a nine. He was in the lead, and now it was time for his second round.  Once again, the Englishman took his position, and took a shot at the target.

"Nine~!" Said the announcer, followed by a loud cheer.  You could tell Arthur was tense and nervous, but never did start to get the shakes, which would ruin his lead.

The rounds passed, the other competitors caught up to Arthur, but he still held the lead. However, one trailed behind by only a few points.  If Arthur wanted to win, he had to make this shot his best, and it had to perfect.

Taking the same stance once again, he tensely lifted the bow into position, tensing up, and then taking the shot.  Moments of silence passed and then the voice of the announcer was heard.

"BULLS-EYE~!" The crowd roared, and Arthur seemed to calm his nerves a bit while you smiled proudly.

The other competitors took their turns, but it was evident who had won, it was just left to the announcer to say it.

"Today's Archery winner are..." He announced Bronze.....Silver..... "The Gold winner is... Arthur Kirkland!"

Smiling proudly, he stood at the top of his competition, proudly accepting the Gold medal that was placed upon him, waving it so the crowd could see.

Afterwards, Arthur met you in the quiet place of the stadium for competitors and their family.  You ran up to him and happily gave him a hug.

"Arthur, I knew you would win!" You happily exclaimed as you smothered him in kisses. "I'm so proud of you."

"Thank you, ______. I couldn't have done it without you there! I love you." Arthur hugged you back, taking the medal off of himself, placing it on you.

"I love you too, my Olympic Gold Medalist!"
