This girl was outgoing.  She was great at every sport she tried and could be tomboy or girly with the flip of a coin.  Who was this girl? Princess Daisy of Sarasaland.  To the red-capped plumber, Mario,  she was perfect.  Mario was still in denial. Did he like her or not? He found his answer at a friendly game of tennis.
It was a game of two on two. Mario and Daisy against Luigi and Peach.  The game was tense, both sides were hardcore. The match soon came to a deuce and Daisy was server. 

"Daisy!" Mario called.
"What?" Daisy asked.
Mario pointed to the side of the court with Peach in it. "Use your special serve and shoot it there. She'll never see it coming!"
"Clever, Mario! Well, here goes nothing." With that said, Daisy served using her special.  The tennis ball glowed with orange and daisies danced around the princess.  She took a step back and swung at the ball.   Boy, did that ball fly.  Princess Peach didn't see it coming and missed her swing. The ball bounced outside of the boundaries giving Daisy and Mario the final point. The deuce was settled, and victory of the tennis match going to the desert princess and the red-capped plumber. 

"Good Game!" Luigi called out to Mario.
"Yes! We won!"  Out of excitement Daisy ran over and hugged Mario.
Mario blushed. That's when he decided. No more denying it, he had a crush on Princess Daisy.  How will I handle this now? Mario thought.  What if she rejects me?  The possibility of rejection was there, it always is, but Mario decided to take chance anyways. He was going to tell Daisy how he felt, or at least ask her out on a date.
 
Mario found the desert princess in a garden outside the tennis courts. She was examining the peddles of an assortment of daisies. At first, Daisy didn't notice the plumber. Soon she turned around and saw him looking at her from a far.
"Do you need something, pal?" She smiled a tomboyish smile and looked at him.
"Um..Yeah. Do you wanna hang out?" Mario asked, his stomach turning like a washing machine.
"Sure! Love to!" Daisy thought it was a cool idea. It was Mario, it most certainly wouldn't be a drag!
"So..what do you want to do?" The plumber questioned.
"Ahhh Don't know.." The Princess thought. "Hmmm we played a ton of sports today so, let's just sit and talk."
"Good Idea." Mario said. This was the perfect opportunity to confess his feelings to her. 

The two talked about Kart Racing, Sports, Party Games, and villains and opponents they despised the most. Then, they both went silent. Mario decided this was the right time to express his feelings.
"So there is something I wanted to say to you, Daisy." The plumber tried to spark a conversation.
"Hm? What is it, Mario?" Pedals of daisy flowers flowed in the wind around the princess.
"I um..like you Princess." Mario paused for a moment. "And it would be nice if we could out and if you don't-"
"Heck Yeah! I'll go out with you, Mario!" Daisy responded before allowing him to finish.
"Okay then..that's good." The red-capped man was nervous now. Where would this go next?
"Hey, Mario. You know what I've always thought about you?" The Princess looked at Mario.
"What?"
"I've have ALWAYS thought your hat was EPIC!" Daisy laughed.
"Oh..Thanks." Mari laughed along with her. Then he took his hat off and put it on Princess Daisy. She fixed it to her head and blushed.  Then the flower princess leaned over a gave the plumber a kiss on the cheek.  Both of their cheeks turned a rose pink.
"Mario, dating you is going to be fun." Then Daisy lead her head on his shoulder and fell asleep
